Advisory Council Responsibilities

Determine the acting commissioner(s) each week.
Maintain a constant presence at all league events for the duration. If a single board member cannot be present at a league event, a proxy will be determined, and notice given to league captains and owners.
Conduct periodic meetings and ongoing discussions to address league affairs, new business, review comments from players/captains, follow up on old business, and innovate on improving the league overall in accordance with the mission statement. Proposals drafted and relevant updates shared with captains and league owners.
Assist in player evaluation level scores and distribution of substitute player roster to all captains.
Prepare proposals to determine competition rules, such as the formula for playoff rankings (Goalie draft) and league standings and publish to the league if a change from what already exists is warranted.
Confirm disciplinary rulings from the Player's Board are in line with USA Hockey guidelines and
finalize motions from the Player's Disciplinary Board.
Assist the owners of the AJHL2.0 with all business and operational needs as they see fit.
